Recognized in the 2022, 2019 and 2017 DownBeat Critics’ Poll for ‘Rising Star – Guitar’, the quirky and unpredictable guitarist-composer-bandleader is found here leading his much-lauded quintet of equally deft collaborators.

The evening also features a high-energy opening set by an all-star ensemble from the Longy School of Music, where Mr. Hofbauer is the chair of the Jazz and Contempory Music Department.
